Chris McMaster built a prototype that runs alongside an ambient scribe during a live clinical consultation. The transcript is periodically handed to Jev, which traverses a medical ontology, a structured hierarchy of clinical concepts, to classify the symptoms mentioned so far. From there it updates the differential diagnosis, suggests treatments and identifies red flags in real time, while the consultation is still going. The post shows the prototype in a video and does not share code or say which question types it uses.
